Professional
A WILD Professional membership is offered to any individual in the profession of or related to lighting and includes the opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors and/or their local Chapter Committee, receives voting rights for elections, and an invitation to the Annual Membership meeting (held online). A Professional member may assign themselves to a local Chapter or become a Member-at-Large.
Cost: $20 per year

Emerging Professional
A WILD Emerging Professional (EP) membership is offered to any individual in the profession of or related to lighting who is within the first five (5) years of their professional experience in the field. EP members have the opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors and/or their local Chapter Committee, receive voting rights for elections, and an invitation to the Annual Membership meeting (held online). An EP member may assign themselves to a local Chapter or become a Member-at-Large.
Cost: $10 per year

Student
A WILD Student membership is offered to any individual registered in a college or university for study toward a degree in an engineering, science, fine arts, architecture, interior design or other field, or, enrolled in an accredited two-year technical school, whose curriculum is related to illumination. Student members receive an invitation to the Annual Membership meeting (held online), but do not receive voting privileges or the opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors and/or their local Chapter Committee. A Student member may assign themselves to a local Chapter, become a Member-at-Larger, or a future online-only Student Chapter*.

Retired
A WILD Retired membership is offered to any individual who has retired from the profession of lighting or associated fields. Retired members receive an invitation to the Annual Membership meeting (held online), but do not receive voting privileges or the opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors. However, a Retired member may serve on their local Chapter Committee. A Retired member may assign themselves to a local Chapter or become a Member-at-Large.

Honorary
A WILD Honorary membership is offered to any individual invited due to their contribution to WILD or the larger lighting community. Honorary members are approved by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the Board of Directors and the Chapter Liaison Committee. Honorary members receive an invitation to the Annual Membership meeting (held online), but do not receive voting privileges or the opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors and/or their local Chapter Committee. An Honorary member may assign themselves to a local Chapter or become a Member-at-Large.
